Little League Age Regulations
What is League Age, and why does it matter?
League Age is the age used to determine eligibility for play in the various Divisions of Little League. As a result of recent research conducted by Little League International, the Age Determination Date (the "cut-off" date) was moved from April 30 to August 31. This adjustment to the Age Determination Date helps achieve the goal of making Little League younger, and allows Little Leaguers to play with their classmates.
