Under the direction of Madison High School head baseball coach Brian Weingart, campers will receive instruction in all areas of the game. Age-appropriate instruction will include fielding, throwing, hitting, base running, bunting, and position play. Our goal is to provide every player with the best possible environment to learn the game and have fun doing so. All campers are welcome, regardless of skill level.

Tentative details for the 2022 program are:
Dates: July 11-14, 9am-12pm (rain date July 15)
Location: Madison High School
Who: Any Madison/Harding youth baseball players entering 2nd through 9th grade
Cost: $220 per camper
Campers should bring their equipment, water bottles, and snack if needed.

Additional information and registration is posted on the MHS Baseball website.

Incoming Freshmen Development Program

The summer is a crucial time for the development and growth of the high school baseball program. To acclimate incoming freshmen to high school baseball, Head Coach Brian Weingart and his staff will run a summer 2002 development program for this group. These workouts are designed to focus on baseball fundamentals as well as individual improvement in a practice setting.

Tentative details for the 2022 program are:
Dates: June 20 to July 14
Days: each week Monday thru Thursday
Location: Madison High School

This schedule is designed to avoid conflicts with summer activities and preparation for fall sports. With that in mind, players are encouraged to attend as many workouts and games as they can.

Additional information is posted on the MHS Baseball website. Please keep in mind that participation in the summer program DOES NOT guarantee a roster spot in the spring of 2023.
